Fairfax, VA 22030

Dear Father Martyn,

On behalf of Forward In Faith, North America, we want to offer you our congratulations on your election as bishop for Missionary Initiative for the Convocation of Anglican Churches in North America. We are very pleased to see an increased presence and cooperation for the Gospel of Jesus Christ in the North America by our brothers and sisters of the Church of Nigeria.

Our prayers and thanksgivings are offered that our Lord Jesus may bless your ministry and that we might walk together for the spread of the saving Gospel as the new day dawns for Anglicans in North America. We are very pleased that borders do not limit Christians in responding to the pastoral needs of God’s people. We note that as there should be great joy that there is a mission to expatriate Nigerian Anglicans living in North America, just as North Americans in living in Europe are ministered to by the Episcopal Church.

We look forward to opportunities for sharing in the work of the Gospel as we walk together in the fellowship of Anglicans worldwide.

In Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Lord, and our King,

On behalf of:
The Right Rev’d. Keith Ackerman
President of Forward In Faith North America
The Executive Committee of the Council of Forward In Faith North America

The Rev’d Keith J. Acker, Communications Director, FiFNA
