A Statement from Forward in Faith Australia

The National Council of Forward in Faith Australia is pleased to announce that it has become an incorporated body and will now be known as Forward in Faith Australia Inc (FiFA Inc).

This development will ensure that financial members of this body are genuinely committed to the Forward in Faith Communion Statement and continue to work with its partners in Forward in Faith International to secure a continuing place for Orthodox Anglican Catholics within the Anglican Communion.

In recent times an Anglican group within New South Wales has adopted the name of Forward in Faith International (Australasia) Inc., and is portraying itself as a member of Forward in Faith International and using the logo of the International Body without permission. This is a deliberate attempt to create confusion within the ranks of faithful Traditional Anglicans in this country, and FiFA Inc wish to make it clear that this new group has no connection whatsoever with us. FiFA Inc has no choice but to take steps to address this matter.

We are pleased to announce that the Chairman of FiF International, the Right Reverend John Broadhurst, will be a keynote speaker at the forthcoming National Conference of FiFA Inc which will be held in Melbourne from 8-10 November 2007. We are grateful to him and the International Council for their support as we maintain the ‘faith once delivered to the saints’ during these difficult times in which we live.

The Right Reverend David Robarts OAM

Chairman
