One of Forward in Faith’s principal roles is to support, administer and finance the work of The Society under the patronage of S. Wilfrid and S. Hilda.

The Society is an ecclesial body, led by a Council of Bishops. The purposes of the Society are:

• to promote and maintain catholic teaching and practice within the Church of England
• to provide episcopal oversight to which churches, institutions and individuals will freely submit themselves
• to guarantee a ministry in the historic apostolic succession in which they can have confidence

The Director of Forward in Faith is the Secretary of the Council of Bishops of The Society.

 

The Society is not a membership organization. Those who wish to support its work are asked to join Forward in Faith.

 

Parishes that are affiliated to The Society may also register as Forward in Faith parishes for no additional charge. This entitles them to be represented in the Forward in Faith National Assembly.
